Hi there,
Yes, I can totally relate. This past week my 4 year old stayed with his grandparents in LI. He must have called me every 2 hours to say he was having an OK time but could I come as soon as possible. he kept asking me how many minutes till I arrive. I never had the heart to say it may be thousands and thousands of minutes because it was Wednesday and I was not coming until Friday evening. And yes I too bought many presents when I arrived yesterday evening. Nice to know other moms feel the same way.
