I was at the polls at 6:30 this morning. No lines, no waiting. Saw some of my neighbors there. Saw people holding signs topped with makeshift card board messages written in a strange, curly font, complete with letters not found in our alphabet.
The right to vote. The right to choose our leaders. How fricken cool is that? I'm feeling powerfully American right now. I cannot wait to see how this turns out.
The weather is GREAT here, so that will not be anyone's excuse.
I just messaged an acquaintance who recently went to teach in Slovakia. She knew well ahead of time that she was going. SHE DID NOT GET AN ABSENTEE BALLOT!

That is a great quote from Obama. Him saying things like that are the reason he is going to win today. I know it.
