It's hump day chickens and my vacation is almost over. I hope I am having fun.
Wednesday in the blogosphere is often refered to as Wordless Wednesday; but I say--let's make today WORD-FULL. Which means
Remember you are playing for FABULOUS prizes.
I'll start, the next person gives a one word response to my word, and the person after responds to the word before them.
THE WORD IS.....
TOE.

For the record, Wednesday is technically a shortening of Weden's Day. It's named after Odin/Woden/Weden (there are many variant spellings), mistakenly taken as the closest Germanic analogue to the Roman Mercury, for whom the day was named in Latin. The following day was named after Zeus, who held the same position in the pantheon as Odin, but the matchup was instead made with the god who shared Zeus's command of lightning - Thor.
Must agree, however, that it is unnecessarily hard to spell.
