As you can see, Mom is pretty and happy in most pictures. Like this one, which proves that even if Mom applies makeup like Tammy Faye Baker, she's still a beauty in the eyes of her child.
Some kids like to paint a happy picture of themselves WITH their Mom:
others like to immortalize the words of wisdom imparted by their mom in a visual statement -- an homage to the Tao of Mom
I am not going to enter a Mother of the Year competition against that one anytime soon.
and made sure my glass was half full. Luckily, my eyes are still open and I haven't passed out face down in my dinner..... yet.

HAHAHA! I love it! Kids are so honest. The other day I was in a shoe store with Wes and he decided to tell a bigger lady with short hair that "she shouldn't wear pink because she's not a girl". It was mortifying.

When I was a little girl I refused to speak in enlglish. I only spoke amytish. I was special.
Haha, what a cute post! My favorite picture is Banana's, I love that she drew you holding a wine glass...so adorable,
Too cute! I too, love the yellow wine! Kids sure keep us on our toes!
Ohhh! I like that portrait. Thank goodness my girls didn't do any of me when I was raising them (on my own). There would have been quite a bit of likeness to dragons, I would imagine!
oh my god, these are fabulous!
My daughter likes the long neck. I, however, enjoy the glass of wine. Although I feel it should be red wine...
true story: when Brat was supposed to write about why I was the best mom she wrote "because she never wears clothes".
So, yeah. That was an interesting phone call.
The only thing I would make sure to grab in case of fire is a picture my (now adult) child did when he was 5. It is my most prized possession and is in the bathroom so it is the first thing I see everyday of my life.
Those drawings are so cute. I looooove your long, elegant neck. Kids are sooooooo observant!
Seeing the world through little ones' eyes is always a treat.
Having a drink that matches your hair is very fashionable.
