TGIF-Thank Gawd I'm Fabulous

I don't really care so much what I write in this post, as long as I don't end the week on a Whiter Shade of Palin. The discussions this week have plumb worn me out, and I visited many of your blogs to discover that some of my Favorites were having The Most Craptastic Week Evah! Were I a Conspiracy Theorist, I would venture the opinion that there was a connection between current politics and this wide spread malaise. Maybe there is a "Tip-Top Super Secret Organization" that is trying to End The World by having all women on the same hormonal cycle at the same time. That would be a whole new War Of Terror.

Obviously, it is up to me to SAVE YOUR WEEKEND. So I leave you with these gifts. Because I heart you cyber friends. And I'm not just saying that because I'm drunk.

So here is Today's HAPPY THOUGHT:

And another happy thought:

Here's a thought that was happier in distant memory than when I actually Googled it

And finally it's great that a Bleeding Heart Liberal Wack Job from New York such as myself can find so many good hearted compadres in other parts of the world. Cheer to you Australia, Dallas, and of course......

Geez, if you wrote this at 8:30 PM, how come it didn't show up on my bloglines blogroll feed until 9:50 AM?

Damn internet.

Thanks for the chocolate. Not so much for the BeeGees anymore. :-)

The last time I saw the Bee Gees (the ones that are still breathing) they didn't look so good. Barry has that saggy, thinning hair sad look about him for sure. As you say, better to think of them in their glory days.

I'm feeling fat today so I didn't stay too long on the chocolate photog. I will show it to Paco later today, though. He can't get enough of it.

I was one of the 8 million or so who got on-line yesterday and gave some more $$$ to the O'Bidens. The Palinator has sent me back into action and she is going down!

I may be back later, depending on how fast I can dispatch my needy, whiney boss. Cheers!

Ah. The Bee Gees. Good times. You just don't hear good falsetto voices anymore. Wonder why?

Aww Lorrie, thank you for the chocolate. I actually dreamt I was eating some last night. Really, this is the only kind I can enjoy right now.

Chocolates and Barry Gibb in tight, white pants? You really are a good friend, aren't you?

Miss Thystle said...

you know me so well, my precious, to know how much groomed eyebrows, false lashes and boys in tight pants effect my love for the world.

The chocolate is going to go awesome with our Old Fashioned's.

BTW...when I first read your comment about 'letting (you) eat (my) maraschino' I thought it was something really, really dirty.

And I loved you all the more.

WHAT was I thinking? It's obvious from the photo that Maurice was the "gifted" BeeGee. Course, he's dead--so Gracie you are correct in thinking they don't currently look so good. I should really come into the millenium and post me some Jonas Bros, but there is something oddly disturbing about lustful comments made in regard to a 14 and 16 year old. (The gay 21 year old that no one can remember the name of is fair game, however. He makes me crazy for a hair iron.)

And speaking of lustful comments...I am sorry you took my comment "that way" Kiki--I thought it was obvious to everyone that "that cherry" of yours was gone years ago.

years and years and years ago.

Most likely to a guy who looked like a Jonas Brother.

Great kick off girls to the WEAK END!!! I'm gonna start drinking right now in ALL of your honors-
I actually consumed with Racie last night, and she was on her best behavior, but Paco was with her so,....we were good girls-
The BeeGees in white, black, naked, for me, not so much....I always thought the guy in the middle looked like a lion...and the others were too gay to mention.
The Jonas Bros are creepy, so can we all gather at Lorries River and talk about MICHAEL BUBLOIS (sp) he was on the Today show and he is HOT!! I would be happy with HIM in white satin pants, feeding him chocolates and arching his eyebrows...and any other hair removal needs....
sorry, its Friday- you know us girls down South, its a weekly national holiday-
thanks Lorrie- I did write about you know who today on mine, but now its OVAH! Back to really important topics like brazillian waxes and whether Brittany is drinking again.........

Oh Lorrie, thank you so much for being light-hearted & providing chocolates! I've been overwhelmed & conflicted all week, and you brought the respite I desparately needed!!

I love the BeeGee's (they had their time & place), but I agree that Michael Buble is a much better option. The Jonas Brothers creep me out a bit...

TGIF to you!!

I like my spelling of Michael's name better, now I will struggle with the Bubble thing......damnit,
but he's still hot and I just won't ask him his LAST name when we hook up.......

Needy, whiney boss temporarily dispatched so I am back, albeit briefly.

I missed Micheal Buble this morning but I love that song "My Everything" and sent it to Paco a few weeks back and told him to listen to it and think of me, his true love.

I'm busy putting the finishing touches on my new post. Please stay tuned. Meanwhile, are the Jonas Brothers actually related or is this a Scissor Sisters kind of thing?

Sadly, I have given into the need to blog about Sarah Palin. I only did it twice, though.
Oh, and I loves me some Bee Gees.

Heart right back at you .. you absolutely fabulous good thang you.

I think the Palin pitbull is receiving as much coverage down under as she is back home ... and the daddy debate - can her husband raise the kids - is driving me bananas ....

He has just as much of a chance at 'raising them right' as Sarah ...plleeeease we as women are not born knowing how - we just own the womb with a view and the jiggly bits - or bongo boobs - as my second born calls them that make feeding a cost free exercise for the first six months ... so I hope Sarah is leaving her boobs at home ...

Love your work Ms Lorrie xoxoxox le

Hey! Is that a new Bloglines subscribe button I see there? Or has that been there all along?

Hi Lorrie,

I'm so with you! I would much rather read about yummy chocolates and The Bee-Gees than politics.(pltthh...yuck...saaaave me!) Opps, am I being "politically incorrect". Shame on me for basing my life on something other than political figures whose personal lives I could absolutely care less about.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Deb
